Michael J. Kostal, MD
Dr. Kostal received his bachelor’s degree in Geology from Yale University and also was a Division I swimmer at Yale who served as captain of his team during his senior year. He completed his MD degree from UMDNJ/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway ,NJ.
Dr. Kostal completed his internal medicine residency at the University of California San Francisco in 2005. He trained as a cardiology fellow at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and completed his fellowship in 2009.
Dr. Kostal specializes in non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He is on staff at Christiana Hospital and St Francis Hospital providing consultative cardiology in our New Castle Co. locations.
